How Amazon has set its sights on the $88B online ad market, as companies like Verizon, AT&T, and Geico ramp up ad buys, despite not selling directly on Amazon  —  Verizon doesn't sell its mobile phones or wireless plans over Amazon.  Nor does it offer Fios, its high-speed internet service.
