Intel says Pohoiki Beach, its neuromorphic computing system with 64 Loihi chips, has the computing power of 8M neurons and will be available to select partners  —  Intel Corp. today announced a neuromorphic computing system based on its prototype Loihi chips that aim to simulate how the human brain processes problems.
