Sony has told reporters that the next-generation PlayStation won't launch within the next 12 months, says PS4 sales now total 96.98M, up from 86.1M in November  —  The next-gen battle is set for 2020  —  Sony recently revealed that its next-generation PlayStation, we'll call it the PS5, won't be ready for 2019.
